Germany X Reader - Savior part 1

"So... It has been already a year." You thought to yourself. It was the anniversary of the start of your freedom.
You spent such a long time with the evilest, cruelest person/country you have ever met in your life, who was Russia. One day he just captured you and kept you in his house and made you his slave and you weren't strong or brave enough to refuse and escape. He abused you a lot and you cried yourself to sleep every night on the floor while you were there. You lost count of the days, you thought it didn't matter anymore anyway. You never know what was going to happen to you and it made you crazy. You were terrified all the time. You just wanted to die.
But that seemed to never happen. Longer and longer days followed eachother and you went through only more and more suffering. You didn't even know why but one day you  grew sick of everything. You though he's already completely broken you but somehow you felt stronger again. You're not going to take this anymore, you're escaping tonight... Somehow. That night Russia was busy with something and you had a little time free... You thought a lot about this, you just had to collect all your courage. You opened the window quietly. Your heart raced, you couldn't imagine what he would do to you if he catches you. You were very nervous but you jumped and you fell into the soft snow. You were glad you didn't hurt yourself but now you had to run like crazy before he notices that you were gone. You ran for your life.
Of course he noticed that you weren't in his house anymore and went to search for you but he gave up after a while, he thought you were so weak you would die outside very soon anyway and he can get a new slave anytime.
Unfortunately you WERE weak. After running for so long, when you felt safe you collapsed in the snow. It was very windy and your clothes were so thin. You tried but couldn't get up. You really thought this is how you die. But oh well, at least it was a peaceful death... Your body was numb and you couldn't move anymore at all. Your eyes closed and you fainted.
When you woke up, you still couldn't feel much just that someone was carrying you. You were so confused, you had no idea what was going on around you. You could only think of the worst, that Russia found you and now he's taking you back. You thought you could finally escape from him but you failed... You started crying quietly and you weren't at yourself soon again.
The next time you woke up was different. You felt warm and comfortable. You slowly managed to open your eyes but your vision was very blurry and it took a while until you could see everything. You were in a room in a bed. You didn't know where you were and you didn't know whether you were safe now or not. You noticed that you had bandages on you and that ressured you a bit. But you were still scared of what people might do to you. You sat up in the bed and curled up. You waited for something to happen, you wanted answers.
Soon the door opened and a tall person with blond hair entered the room. You stared at him and you were scared again. You hated how even he reminded you of Russia, but he was just as tall and strong as him.
The man came closer and sat on the bed. You stared at your feet, you couldn't look up at him.
"Oh, you finally woke up. Are you alright?" He asked with a heavy German accent. You just nodded quickly. You shivered when he stroked your hair and you looked at him with a terrified look on your face. That was when you saw his blue eyes too and he didn't even look that scary anymore.
"How are you feeling, frau?"
"I-I'm... good."
"That's great. I found you in the snow, you almost froze to death. How did you get there at all?"
You looked away for a second. He was the one who saved your life. You had to tell him everything, no matter how horrible the memories were. You started crying so many times but he tried to help you to calm down everytime.  He told you that he was Germany, he was called Ludwig and he was in a war with Russia. You were happy Ludwig was his enemy and you wanted to help him as much as you could, you told him everything you knew about Russia.
Ludwig gave you shelter and helped you to get strong again. He was very nice to you but he still kept distance from you. But you were more thankful to him than anyone else you met before. He protected you from everything and you felt you owed him so much. You always did your best to help him wherever you could.
Months later he left you in the house you stayed at and went to attack Russia. You wanted to go too to help him but he didn't let you go with him, you had to stay. There are no words to express how worried you were. You kept walking around in the house all the time, waiting impatiently for him to come back. You thought you go crazy. You waited and waited, you felt like time froze at times. Sometimes you though he lost... But no, that couldn't happen, he beat Russia! He's coming back very soon! Maybe tomorrow or even today but he's coming back! You kept waiting... You didn't count the days, you just wanted him to finally arrive.
And that happened too. He returned and even though he had scars and wounds, he was alive and you were so happy! You held him tightly at the door and cried as you buried your face into his chest and pulled on his clothes. Later you took care of his every wound, just like he did to you when you needed it. He won the war but it had a price.
You two still grew closer to eachother, he let you stay with him longer. You had a peaceful and safe life next to him. He taught you how to fight and defend yourself, you trained together a lot. You did your best to learn everything from him and make him proud of you.
And that's how your new life started exactly a year ago. You were waiting for Ludwig again, you two were going to go for a jog today.
